About Chef Claudine Gaj

Chef Claudine Gaj started her career in the catering and restaurant business while she was still in high school. She graduated from University of Massachusetts Lowell in 1995 with double BA degrees in Nutrition and Health Education. She began The Magic Spoon as a personal chef and catering business in 1998. The success and popularity of her catering business has her focusing on servicing these clients and growing her catering services and menus.

When Claudine is not in the kitchen she maybe enjoying time with her husband and daughter or she may be on the golf course getting in a few holes. Claudine is active at her daughters school and in the Military community as the wife of a Air Force Loadmaster. Claudine is also active in the business community as a member of The Affiliated Chamber of Commerce of Greater Springfield (ACCGS) and Young Professional Society of Springfield (YPS). Claudine was awarded the 2000 Small Business Recognition Award by the ACCGS. The Magic Spoon is certified Woman's Owned Business. Claudine volunteers her cooking skills and creations by donating time at community fundraisers for Boys & Girls Club, Girl Scouts of Western and Central Mass, Habitat for Humanity, Autism Awareness, Feast in the East and Food Fest West and other community organizations. You may have tasted her tasty creations while at many community events!
